a.s.k Trio
Background:
On a visit to Japan in 2007, Amanda met and played with young up
and coming Japanese Bassist-composer Seigo Matsunaga, and
virtuoso Dutch drummer, Sebastiaan Kaptein.
The trio enjoyed an immediate connection and synergy,
collaborating on a collection of compositions from both
Amanda and Seigo.
It worked so well, that Amanda was invited back to
Japan
in August 2008, and again in October 2008 to tour Japan, as
leader of the newly formed
a.s.k. trio.
